Waste of TIme

Perhaps Bill Sticker can help on this one?

I was walking through town today, when I saw a white van with a big fat Penalty Notice stuck to the screen.

My keen eye told me there was something different about this van. Steering wheel on the wrong side – unfamiliar words written across the front and a number plate with a white letter “F” in a blue square at the beginning.

Now I was taught that we couldn’t do stick and runs on foreign registered vehicles, because funnily enough they’re not on the PNC.

Has there been a change in procedure or are some parking attendants behind with their quota?

PS – this isn’t a picture of the offending vehicle – it’s from a Google search, in case you’re wondering.

Funnily enough there are procedures to deal with foreign registered vehicle owners who won’t cough up. Although you can’t PNC them via the DVLA, there are other mysterious ways known only to the appeals office to process these tickets.

Don’t ask me what they are, but I’m assured they exist.

    Regards

You can ticket them, tow them and have them added to PNC! The owner then has to pay the fine to get his car back.

Reading a blog from Australia about 4 young lads who took revenge on a mobile speed camera plaguing their area. While 3 kept the operators busy asking them various questions about the cameras and number of tickets they get a day, the 4th crept to the front of the van and removed the number plate. They all went home, fixed the number plate to one of their cars and drove past the camera at speed 17 times! The result was the automatic ticketting system sent 17 speeding fines to their own department!
If only someone here had the bottle to try it!
