Testing
June 15, 2007I’m playing with Windows Live Writer to see how it works with Blogger. It’s still in Beta at present, but I’ll try most things once.

A request to all you other bloggers out there.
I’m considering whether to move this site from Blogger to WordPress. I’ve been toying with the idea for a while and have an account set up and everything.
The only small fly in the ointment at the moment is that Blogger in Beta won’t let me export my posts to another account. This leaves me with a problem.
Do I start again and leave the two sites running simultaneously? Or do I do the laborious job of copying and pasting every single post across to WordPress?
Any views?

I can’t edit any of the page elements and all the buttons to add stuff like images and hyperlinks have disappeared in the Create Post tab.
Is this a temporary measure?
**UPDATE**
If anyone else is suffering the same problem, open your browser and press Ctrl + F5 to clear your browser cache. It worked for me!

We’ve moved house and it has taken over a week to get broadband installed. The lack of internet connection has meant that I have had to do DIY thingys. The list of jobs has shrunk sufficiently for me to be allowed on the computer.
Thanks for keeping an eye on things - hopefully I’ll come up with something to keep you entertained over the next few weeks.
Thanks to those of you who have put my blog on their sidebar.
When I’ve got a few minutes, I’ll return the favour.
Due to other stuff going on, I’ve not added anything at all interesting yet, but bear with me. Bearing in mind what has happened to Brian, I’ll have to be careful what I say. If they can identify one officer among the many thousands in the Throbbing Metropolis, there’s a greater chance of me being tracked down in the Humming Metrolopiss.
I’m with a very large force in the middle of England, so it shouldn’t take too long to work out roughly where I am, but there are over 8000 of us, so it might take you a bit longer to identify who I am.
(To give you a clue - I’m not the Chief)
